AWANA Ministry
The AWANA Ministry is a club program for children age 3 (who will enter kindergarten in two years) through grade 6. The goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. This ministry consists of exciting games, memory of Bible verses, and a devotional time. AWANA offers a unique award system that motivates boys and girls to achieve. The acronym stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, taken from II Timothy 2:15. This year, the program is held at the church on Wednesday evenings, from September 3, 2008, 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. For more information, contact Sis. Venniesee Harris.
