WEDNESDAY NIGHT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR 09-16-09

• The Titus 2 Encouragement Ministry Committee will meet after church this Sunday.  See Catherine Jackson if you are unable to attend.

• The Titus 2 Women’s “End-of-Year Luncheon” will be given this year in memory of Sis. Janie Simmons.  It will be held October 10^th, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.  Anyone who would like to share a couple of sentences in memory of Sis. Simmons for our newsletter, please write it out and give it to Sis. Virginia Scott. We welcome comments from women, men and children.

• All Care Group Leaders, Deacons, Pastors, and their wives should plan to meet with Pastor and Sister Dodson for dinner, here at the church this Sunday, September 20^th at 6 p.m.

• All Ministry and Committee leaders who are requesting budget allocations for the 2010 fiscal year should submit their budget requests to the Financial Committee no later than October 1, 2009. We will start reviewing requests so that we can make up our annual budget for the upcoming year. The Financial Committee.

• This Sunday, September 20^th immediately following church service, the Gainer’s Coyote Clubs, both Alpha and Beta Care Groups will go downtown to the canal for a picnic and walk.

• For the month of September, the Scott Family Care Group will meet at Sunday evening, September 27^th at the church at 6 p.m. They will leave and go on a bus tour of the highlights of the city.

• The Morgan’s, St. Lucia missionaries that we support, are appealing for your assistance in raising the remaining $13,000 to purchase property for a church. The owner of the land needs to sell to settle medical bills by the end of September. The Morgan’s have already raised $14,000 of the $27,000 needed for the purchase. If they cannot raise the rest of the money, the owner’s next option is to sell the property to the Seventh Day Adventists. They would like your help with the remaining $13,000. Please make contributions to Trinity Baptist Church and clearly mark them for the Morgan’s St. Lucia Church Project. We will also take up a special offering on Sunday, September 27^th for this project.

• Song sheets and Scripture reading will be shown on the overhead projector on Sundays and not included in the bulletins. We will continue to include announcements in the bulletin, and only current and urgent announcements will be shown on the overhead. The lighting will be adjusted so we can see the information more clearly on the wall. Thanks for your patience.

• TBC Couples:  you are invited to attend the next Marriage Ministry event, "Friday With Friends", September 18th, 7 p.m. at Trinity.  Please RSVP at CommittedForLife@live.com or call 317.294.1871. Please join us for food, fellowship, and fun! Each couple is asked to bring a dish to pass. When you reply, please let us know if you will need childcare for the evening.
• Membership Class will be held this Saturday at 1 p.m. for anyone who would like to attend.

• Just a reminder, Bible Study on Wednesday nights now begins at 6:45 p.m.  If you have children in AWANA, please proceed to the old sanctuary for Bible Study as soon as you have dropped off your children. Please do not remain in the main sanctuary. Also, just a reminder to pick up your children immediately following prayer service so the AWANA workers can go home.  We would also like to have AWANA workers to join us in mid-week Bible study and prayer service during the times they are not working with the children.

• There is a box and prayer request cards at the entrance of the main sanctuary for you to deposit your prayer requests and helpful suggestions. At the end of each Sunday, the Pastors will gather the requests and pray together over them during the week.
